How to Record Your Screen on the HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 PaperMatte

Accessing the Screen Recorder

• 👆 Swipe down from the top right side of your HUAWEI MatePad 11.5 screen to reveal the toggles.
• 💡 Locate and click on the screen recorder toggle to initiate the process.

Initial Setup and Permissions

• ✅ You may be prompted to allow access for sound (microphone, media) and files.
• ⚙️ Select 'agree' to grant the necessary permissions for recording.
• 🎙️ The microphone will be turned on by default, but you can disable it if needed.

Recording and Limitations

• 📱 Once recording, you can open and interact with any application.
• ⚠️ Be aware that certain applications may not be recorded.

Stopping and Saving Recordings

• ⏱️ To stop the recording, click on the timer displayed on the screen.
• 💾 The recording will be automatically stopped and saved to your gallery.

Finding Your Recordings

• 🖼️ Open the gallery app to find your most recent screen recording at the top.
• 🗂️ Alternatively, navigate to Albums, then the screenshot album, which also conveniently stores screen recordings.
