Formatting the SD Card for External Recording

• 💡 Format your SD card to EXFAT before connecting it to your iPhone 17 Pro Max for video recording.
• ⚠️ Formatting will erase all data from the SD card, so ensure you have backed up any important files.
• 🛠️ To format, connect the SD card via an adapter, open the Files app, locate the SD card, press and hold, select 'Get Info', and if not EXFAT, choose 'Erase' and select EXFAT.

Enabling ProRes for External Recording

• ⚙️ Navigate to Settings on your iPhone, search for and select Camera.
• 🎥 Scroll down to Formats and tap on Apple ProRes.
• 🎬 After enabling ProRes, return to the Camera app, switch to Video mode.

Recording to External Drive

• ⚡ In the top left corner of the camera interface, you will see an option to switch between Log mode and HDR mode.
