How to Pair HUAWEI Watch Ultimate 2 with an Android Phone

Initial Setup and App Installation

• ⌚ Turn on your HUAWEI Watch Ultimate 2 by pressing and holding the crown button and select your preferred language.
• 🌐 Access the pairing link via QR code or by manually navigating to appgallery.huawei.com in your web browser.
• 📲 Download and install the HUAWEI AppGallery by tapping the download icon and following the on-screen prompts, including granting necessary permissions for third-party app installation.
• 📥 Within AppGallery, search for and install the HUAWEI Health app, again allowing installation from unknown sources.

Connecting Your Watch

• 🌍 Select your service region within the HUAWEI Health app and agree to the terms and conditions.
• 🔗 Tap on Devices, then Add device, and allow required permissions for the app to scan for nearby devices.
• 🤝 Your HUAWEI Watch Ultimate 2 should be detected; tap Connect and then confirm the connection on your watch by tapping the checkmark.

HUAWEI ID and Permissions

• 🔑 You will be prompted to log in to your HUAWEI ID. If you don't have one, tap Register to create a new account.
• 📧 Enter your email and password, then retrieve and enter the verification code sent to your email to complete the login.
• ⚙️ After logging in, navigate back to Devices, tap Add device, and select your watch again to finalize the connection.

Watch Configuration and Notifications

• 📍 Review and enable enhanced services such as location services, user programs, and automatic software updates by checking the relevant boxes.
• 📶 Configure phone notification settings for your watch, choosing which app notifications you wish to receive and tapping Done.
• ✅ Once connected, the watch will display its watch face, indicating it is ready to use and synced with your Android phone.
