How to Pair Amazfit Balance 2 with iPhone Using ZEP App

Initial Watch Setup

• ⚡ Turn on the Amazfit Balance 2 by pressing and holding the lower button until it vibrates or the logo appears.

ZEP App Installation and Account Login

• 📲 On your iPhone, ensure Bluetooth and internet are enabled, then open the App Store.
• 🔍 Search for "Zap" (with two Ps), find the app with the specified icon, and tap 'Get' to download and install it.
• 🔑 Once installed, open the Zap app and log in with your existing Amazfit account or sign up for a new one.

Device Pairing and Permissions

• ⚙️ Allow necessary permissions for the Zap app, including notifications, location, and contacts, as prompted.
• ⚠️ Crucially, allow the required permission for pairing when prompted by your iPhone.
• 📸 Open the Zap app's device pairing section, agree to terms, and scan the QR code displayed on your watch using your iPhone's camera.

Completing Setup and Configuration

• 📞 You'll have the option to enable contact access to make calls from your watch; tap 'Enable' and select contacts, or 'Skip' if not needed.
• 🗓️ Similarly, enable calendar access to receive event notifications on your watch, or tap 'Skip'.
• 🖱️ Choose the preferred button position (left or right) to flip or set the default screen orientation, then tap 'Next'.
