How to Lock Apps on HUAWEI Mate X6 Using App Lock Feature

Enabling App Lock on HUAWEI Mate X6

• ⚙️ To begin, open the Settings app on your HUAWEI Mate X6.
• 🔒 Navigate to Security, then select App Lock.
• 👆 Choose to enable the feature.

Setting Up Your App Lock Password

• 🔑 You have two options for your App Lock password: use your current lock screen password or create a custom PIN.
• 🔢 To use your lock screen password, simply tap on it and enter it.
• ✍️ To create a custom PIN, tap the custom PIN option, create your PIN, repeat it to confirm, and answer a security question (you can choose a preset or create your own).
• ✅ Save your settings by hitting OK and then Finish.

Locking Individual Applications

• 📱 Once App Lock is set up, locate the app you wish to lock in your app list.
• ➡️ Use the gray switcher next to the app's name to toggle it on.
• 🔒 Now, when you try to access that app, a PIN will be required.

Disabling App Lock

• 🔙 To disable App Lock for a specific app, return to the App Lock settings, enter your PIN, and use the blue switcher next to the app to toggle it off.
• 🚫 To disable App Lock completely, find the App Lock feature switcher, toggle it off, and enter your PIN one last time.
