How to Lock Apps on HONOR Pad V9 Using App Lock Feature

Accessing App Lock Settings

• ⚙️ Open Settings on your HONOR Pad V9 and scroll down to find Security & Privacy.
• 🛡️ Navigate to Device and Data Protection within the Security & Privacy menu.
• 🔒 Select App Lock to begin the setup process.

Setting Up App Lock Security

• 🔑 Choose to either use your current screen lock or create a custom PIN specifically for App Lock.
• ❓ Answer a pre-defined security question or create a custom one for account recovery.
• ✅ Tap Finish to complete the initial setup.

Locking and Unlocking Specific Apps

• 👆 To lock an app, toggle the gray switcher next to its name in the App Lock settings.
• ⚠️ Once locked, attempting to access the app will require your App Lock PIN or password.
• 🔓 To unlock an app, return to the App Lock settings and toggle the blue switcher back to its off position.

Managing App Lock Features

• 🔧 Access App Lock settings via the gear icon in the top right corner for further adjustments.
• 🚫 To disable App Lock completely, select the 'Disable App Lock' option at the bottom of the settings.
• 🚪 You will need to enter your chosen locking method one last time to confirm the removal.
