How to Import Contacts from SIM Card to UMIDIGI G5 Tab

Accessing the Contacts App

• 📱 Start by opening the standalone Contacts application on your UMIDIGI G5 Tab.

Managing SIM Contacts

• ⚙️ Navigate to the 'Organize and Manage SIM' section to view all contacts stored on your SIM card.
• ⚠️ Be aware that by default, Android may attempt to import contacts directly to your Google account.

Choosing Import Destination

• 💾 To prevent syncing with Google, change the import location from 'Google account' to 'Device'.
• ❌ You can also deselect specific contacts you do not wish to import.

Importing and Viewing Contacts

• ▶️ Click 'Import' to transfer the selected contacts to your chosen destination (Device or Google).
• 🧐 After importing, return to the main contacts list to view them.
• 🔄 If contacts are not immediately visible, you may need to adjust the display location settings within the Contacts app, choosing between Device, SIM card, Google account, or All contacts.
