Disabling Google Photos Backup

• 💡 Open the Google Photos app and tap your profile icon in the top right corner.
• 🎯 Navigate to the backup option and select disable backup to stop automatic photo syncing.

Managing Shared Content

• 📌 Go back to your profile icon, then to Google Photos settings.
• 🔗 Under sharing, find manage sharing activity to review and remove shared links by tapping the trash icon and confirming deletion.
• 💬 To leave shared conversations, tap on the conversation, then the three dots in the top right, and select leave.

Deleting Photos from Google Photos

• 🗑️ To delete all photos, it's easiest on a PC, but on mobile, set the layout to months via the three dots in the top right.
• 🧹 Select all photos and move them to the trash. For immediate deletion, go to collections, then trash, click the three dots, select all, and delete.

Removing or Disabling the App

• 📱 On iOS, press and hold the Google Photos app icon, then select remove app and delete application.
• ⚙️ On Android, go to settings, then apps, find Google Photos, and select force stop.
• 💾 Recommended for Android: Go to storage and cache, then clean cache and clear storage before disabling the app, as deletion is often not possible.
