How to Factory Reset Your LG Smart TV to Default Settings

Preparing for the Reset

• ⚠️ Before starting, back up all important files and media stored on your TV, as the reset will erase installed apps and personal settings.

Navigating to Reset Settings

• ⚙️ Press the settings button on your remote control and navigate to the All Settings menu.
• ➡️ From there, select General, then System, and finally Reset to Initial Settings.

TV Password and Reset Options

• 🔑 You will need to enter your TV's password. Common default passwords include four zeros (0000) or 1234 (for Norway, Belgium, and France).
• ❓ If default passwords don't work, find your TV's specific password by going to Support → User Guide → System → Safety → Reset Password.
• 🔄 After entering the password, choose between Reset All for a full factory reset or Reset All except Network Settings.

Completing the Reset

• ⏳ Select Reset All to initiate the full factory reset. This process will take some time.
• 📺 Once the reset is complete, your TV will restart and display the initial setup screen, similar to when it was first unboxed.
