How to Enable Power Saving Mode on iPhone Air

Accessing Control Center

• 👆 To begin, swipe down from the top right of your iPhone Air's screen to access the Control Center.

Adding the Low Power Mode Toggle

• ➕ If the Low Power Mode toggle isn't visible, you'll need to add it.
• ⚙️ Tap and hold an empty space in the Control Center, then select 'Add Control'.
• 💡 Find and tap 'Low Power Mode' to add it to your Control Center.
• ✅ Tap the space again to exit editing mode.

Activating Power Saving Mode

• 🔋 From the Control Center, tap the Low Power Mode toggle to activate it.
• ⚠️ A popup will appear detailing what is reduced or disabled, such as mail fetching, background app refresh, automatic downloads, and visual effects.
• 🚀 Select 'Continue' to enable the mode. The battery icon will change color to indicate it's active.

Impact of Power Saving Mode

• 📉 Visual effects are reduced, including the display refresh rate dropping to 60 frames per second, which can make the display appear choppier.
• 📧 Mail fetching is affected, and the phone may turn off mobile data and Wi-Fi when not in use to preserve battery.
• 🔔 This can result in delayed or unsent notifications from internet-dependent applications, like mail.

Deactivating Power Saving Mode

• 🎛️ To turn off Power Saving Mode, find the toggle in the Control Center again.
• ❌ Tap the toggle once more to deactivate it and revert the changes made.
