  • ⚙️ Navigate to and select System Settings from the dropdown menu.

  • ♿️ In System Settings, scroll down to find and open the Accessibility menu.
  • 🖱️ Within Accessibility, locate and select Pointer Control.

Toggling the Built-in Trackpad

  • 🎛️ To disable the trackpad when an external mouse or wireless trackpad is connected, switch the toggle next to 'Ignore built-in trackpad when mouse is present' to the right.
  • ↩️ To re-enable the built-in trackpad, switch this same toggle back to the left.
