How to Enable or Disable NFC on Samsung Galaxy Watch 8 (40mm)

Accessing NFC Settings

• 💡 Wake up the watch by tapping the screen or pressing the upper button to access the home screen.
• 👆 Swipe down from the top of the screen to open the quick panel.

Using the Quick Panel for NFC

• 🔍 Scroll through the quick panel pages by swiping left and right to find the NFC icon.
• 🔘 Tapping the NFC icon will toggle it on or off. A grayed-out icon indicates NFC is disabled, while a highlighted white icon means it's enabled.

Navigating Through Main Settings

• ⚙️ Access the main settings menu by opening the app menu and tapping the settings icon.
• 🔗 Select Connections, then tap on NFC and contactless payments.

Managing NFC and Payments

• 🔛 Use the switch to turn NFC on or off directly within the settings.
• 💳 You can also change the default wallet app and manage other NFC services, such as Samsung Health, from this menu.
• ✅ Once adjustments are made, press the upper button to return to the watch face.
