Accessing Developer Options

  • ⚙️ To manage automatic system updates on your NOTHING Phone (3), first open the Settings app.
  • 📱 Scroll down to the bottom and tap on About phone.
  • 👆 Then, tap on the Nothing OS section (the toggle with the photo) and repeatedly tap on the build number until you see a message indicating you are in developer mode. You may need to confirm with your screen lock.

Configuring Automatic Updates

  • 🔙 Once developer mode is active, go back to the main settings list and tap on System.
  • 🛠️ Within the System menu, select Developer options.
  • 🔍 Scroll down within Developer options to find the Automatic system updates setting.

Enabling and Disabling Updates

  • ON/OFF 💡 If the setting is off, tap the switcher to enable automatic system updates. Your device will then be allowed to apply updates when restarted and an update is available.
  • 🚫 To disable automatic updates, simply tap the switcher again. This prevents the device from applying updates automatically.
