How to Enable or Disable Automatic Software Updates on REDMI Pad 2

Accessing Developer Options

• 💡 To manage automatic updates on your REDMI Pad 2, first open the Settings app.
• 📌 Navigate to About Tablet, located at the top of the left-hand list.
• 👆 Tap on the OS version approximately seven times until you see a notification indicating you are in developer mode.

Locating Automatic System Updates

• 🔙 Once developer mode is active, go back to the main settings list and scroll down to find Additional Settings.
• 🔍 Within Additional Settings, scroll down again to locate and select Developer Options.

Managing Software Update Settings

• ⚙️ Inside Developer Options, scroll down to find the Automatic System Updates option.
• ✅ To enable automatic updates, tap the switcher next to the option. Your device will then be allowed to apply updates upon restart.
• ❌ To disable automatic updates, simply tap the switcher again to turn it off.
