How to Enable and Use Voice Typing on HONOR Pad V9

Activating Voice Typing

• 💡 To begin, launch your keyboard and look for the microphone icon in the top right corner.
• ⚙️ If the microphone icon is not visible, tap the gear icon instead.
• 👆 Select voice typing and tap the gray switch next to 'Use voice typing' to activate it. The switch will turn blue when enabled.

Using Voice Typing Features

• 🎤 Once activated, tap the visible microphone icon to start dictating text hands-free.
• ⚠️ If this is your first time using voice typing, you may need to select 'While using the app' in a popup.
• ⏸️ To pause or stop voice typing, use the same microphone icon or tap the tiny icon on the left.

Toolbar and Settings

• 🛠️ Activate the microphone and click the tiny icon on the left to access the toolbar.
• 😊 Add emojis by tapping the smiley face on the toolbar and selecting your desired emoji.
• ❌ To dismiss the keyboard, tap the 'X' at the top left corner of the toolbar.
• ⚙️ Access additional keyboard settings by clicking the three lines on the left side of the toolbar.
• 🔄 To reposition the toolbar, hold and drag it to your preferred location.
• ⌨️ To switch back to the standard keyboard, use the keyboard icon also located on the left.
