Enabling Voice Typing on Pixel 9a

  • 👆 Launch your keyboard on your Google Pixel 9a.
  • 🎤 Tap the microphone icon located at the top right corner of the keyboard.
  • ⚠️ You may need to grant microphone access by selecting "While using the app" to begin.

Using Voice Input

  • 🗣️ Once enabled, simply speak your text to have it transcribed.
  • ⏸️ To pause or stop voice typing, tap the microphone icon again.

Managing Voice Typing Options

  • 🗑️ Use the icon next to the microphone to delete text as needed.
  • ⚙️ Access and manage available voice typing options by clicking the three lines at the bottom left corner.
  • ⌨️ To return to the standard keyboard, tap the keyboard icon also found at the bottom left.
