Accessing Chromebook Settings

  • 💡 To begin, open the launcher by clicking the icon in the bottom-left corner of your screen.
  • 🎯 Navigate to Settings from the launcher menu.

Enabling the Virtual Keyboard

  • 🔑 Within Settings, scroll down to find and select Accessibility.
  • ⚙️ Then, go to the Keyboard and text input section.
  • 🖱️ To activate the on-screen keyboard, switch the toggle to the right, which will then display the on-screen keyboard icon.

Using and Managing the On-Screen Keyboard

  • ⌨️ Click the on-screen keyboard icon to use it for typing. You can input characters by clicking individual keys or by holding down the left mouse button to drag and form words.
  • 🗂️ To temporarily hide the keyboard, click the designated hide icon.
  • ❌ To completely disable the on-screen keyboard, return to the Accessibility settings and switch the toggle back to the left.
