How to Enable and Use Power Saving Mode on HONOR 400

Accessing Power Saving Mode

• 👆 Swipe down from the top right side of the screen to access the quick settings panel on your HONOR 400.
• 🔍 Extend the list of toggles by swiping down again to reveal options like Power Saving Mode.

Enabling Power Saving Mode

• 💡 Tap the Power Saving Mode toggle to activate it.
• ✅ For first-time use, a pop-up explains that it enables dark mode, turns off always-on display, auto-sync, restricts background activity, and reduces visual effects.
• 🚫 You can check a box to prevent this pop-up from appearing on subsequent activations.
• 🔋 Once enabled, a leaf icon will appear in the battery indicator, signifying that Power Saving Mode is active.

Key Changes and Auto Sync

• ⚙️ Power Saving Mode restricts background activity and reduces visual effects to conserve battery.
• ⚠️ A critical feature is auto-sync, which disconnects Wi-Fi and mobile data when the device is not in use.
• 🚫 This disconnection means you won't receive notifications that require an internet connection while the mode is active and the screen is off.
• 🔌 The device will automatically reconnect to data when you wake or unlock the screen.

Disabling Power Saving Mode

• ↩️ To turn off Power Saving Mode, simply tap the toggle again in the quick settings panel.
