How to Enable and Customize the Tipping Option on SumUp Solo

Enabling the Tipping Feature

• 💡 To add a tipping option on your SumUp Solo, first click the arrow at the top of the screen.
• 📌 Next, select 'Payment options' and then choose 'Tipping'.

Smart Tip Settings

• 🎯 Activate the 'Smart Tip' option to configure how tips are presented to customers.
• 📊 Depending on the purchase amount, different tip options will be displayed, either as pre-set choices or as percentages.

Processing a Payment with Tips

• ⚡ When making a purchase and proceeding to the next step, the customer will be presented with the tipping option.
• 💰 Customers can select a suggested tip or enter a custom tip amount.
