How to Enable and Customize Night Mode (Reading Mode) on POCO Pad

Accessing Night Mode Settings

• ⚙️ Begin by opening the Settings app on your POCO Pad.
• 💡 Navigate to Display & Brightness in the left-hand menu.
• 📖 Scroll down and select Reading Mode, which is the POCO Pad's name for eye comfort features.

Enabling and Customizing Reading Mode

• ✅ To activate Reading Mode, simply tap the switcher at the top of the screen, which will turn the display a yellowish or amber hue to filter blue light.
• 🌡️ Within Reading Mode, you can adjust the color temperature by moving a slider; sliding left makes it cooler, and sliding right makes it warmer.
• 🖼️ The mode offers a preview photo to show how color adjustments affect the display.
• 📄 An optional texture setting can apply a paper-like feel to the background, which is a matter of personal preference.
• 🎨 You can also choose to display colors in full color, light colors (which appear duller and washed out), or monochromatic (black, white, and gray).

Scheduling and Automation

• 📅 Reading Mode can be scheduled for automatic activation.
• ⏰ Choose a custom period to set specific on and off times for the mode.
• 🌃 Alternatively, select Good Night's Read for an automatic option that uses location data to determine sunset and sunrise times for activation.

Adding Reading Mode to Quick Settings

• 👆 For faster access, unroll the top bar to reveal the Quick Settings panel.
• ➕ If Reading Mode isn't visible, tap Edit to add it to the panel by selecting the plus icon next to Reading Mode.
• ✔️ Once added, you can tap the Reading Mode icon in the Quick Settings to toggle it on or off easily.
