How to Enable and Customize Do Not Disturb Mode on iPhone

Quick Access to Do Not Disturb

• 👆 To quickly enable Do Not Disturb, slide down from the top-right of your screen to access the Control Center.
• 🎯 Find and tap on the Focus control. If it's not visible, you may need to add it by going to Settings > Control Center and adding 'Focus'.
• 🎛️ Once Focus is in your Control Center, tap it and select Do Not Disturb to activate it.

Customizing Do Not Disturb Settings

• 👥 Under 'People', you can choose to allow notifications only from specific contacts or silence everyone except a select few.
• 📞 For calls, you can set them to be allowed from 'Contacts Only', 'Favorites', or 'Allowed People Only', with an option to allow repeated calls to ring through if someone calls twice within 3 minutes.

App Notifications and Time-Sensitive Alerts

• 📱 In the 'Apps' section, you can allow or silence notifications from specific applications.
• ⏰ Time-Sensitive Notifications can be enabled to ensure critical alerts from allowed apps bypass Do Not Disturb.

Do Not Disturb Options and Screen Customization

• 🔒 Options include showing silenced notifications on the lock screen, hiding notification badges, and dimming the screen to indicate Focus is active.
• 🖼️ You can customize your Lock Screen wallpaper and choose which Home Screen pages are visible when a Focus mode is active, hiding distracting apps.

Scheduling and Filters

• ⏰ Schedules can be set up for automatic activation based on time, location, or app usage (e.g., opening the Books app).
• 🎛️ Filters allow you to refine what is shown during a Focus mode, such as filtering calendars or conversations, or enabling Low Power Mode.
