How to Delete Games and Software on Nintendo Switch 2

Accessing the Home Screen

• 🏠 To begin deleting games, navigate to the home screen of your Nintendo Switch 2 by pressing the home button.

Selecting and Managing Software

• 🎮 Hover over the specific software or game you wish to remove from your console.
• ➖ Press the minus button on your controller to open the options menu for the selected game.
• ⚙️ Within the menu, locate and select the "manage software" option.

Deleting Games and Icons

• 🗑️ Choose the "delete software" option to remove the game data.
• ⚠️ If a game card is inserted, you will be prompted to remove it before proceeding with data deletion.
• 🏠 You also have the option to delete the home menu icon for the game, which can be done by unchecking the relevant box in the manage software menu.
• ✅ Once confirmed, the game and its icon will be completely removed from your console.
