How to Customize Button Functions on PocketBook InkPad Color

Accessing Key Mapping Settings

• 💡 Navigate to Apps on your PocketBook InkPad Color.
• 🎯 Then, select Settings.
• 🔑 Within Settings, choose Personalize and then Key Mapping.

Global Key Mapping Options

• ⚙️ Select the Global tab to view and modify all available button functions.
• 📌 You can reassign functions for various actions, including menu, hold actions, and music player controls.

Customizing Button Functions

• 📸 For example, the 'menu hold' button can be changed to take a screenshot.
• 💡 Other options include enabling/disabling the front light, returning to the main menu, opening the calendar, or accessing the library.
• 🎵 Music player functions like play/pause, volume control, and track skipping can also be mapped.
• 🌐 Communication options include network connection and disconnection.
• 🗂️ Task control functions like task manager, switching, and killing tasks are available.
• 🔌 The power off function can also be assigned to a button hold.

Applying Changes

• ✅ After remapping a key, you need to leave the settings menu and allow the PocketBook to refresh for the changes to take effect.
• 🚀 Holding the button after the refresh will now perform the newly assigned action, such as taking a screenshot.
