How to Create and Remove User Accounts on an ACER Predator 17 Laptop

Accessing User Account Settings

• 💻 Navigate to Settings on your ACER Predator 17.
• 👤 Select Accounts, then find the Family & other users section.

Creating a New User Account

• ➕ Click on Add someone else to this PC to begin.
• 🚫 Choose I don't have this person's sign-in information to proceed without a Microsoft account.
• 👤 Select Add a user without a Microsoft account for local account creation.
• 📝 Enter the name for the new user.
• 🔒 It is highly recommended to set a password for the new account.
• ❓ You will need to set up three security questions and answer them truthfully for password recovery.

Managing User Account Types and Removal

• ⚙️ After creation, you can change the account type to administrator or remove the account by clicking on it.
• 🗑️ To remove an account, select it and choose the Remove account option.

Switching Between User Accounts

• 🔄 To switch users while logged in, click the Start button, then your account icon, and select the other user.
• 🔑 Enter the password if one is set for the account you are switching to.
• ⏳ The first login may require a moment to set up the user's personalized environment.
• 🔒 To switch from the lock screen, press Windows key + L to lock the screen, swipe up, and select the desired user from the bottom left corner.
• ✅ Enter the correct password to log in.
