How to Create a New Login in the Bitwarden PC Desktop App

Creating a New Login Entry

• ➕ Click the plus icon on the main page to start creating a new login.
• 📝 Enter the item name, such as 'TikTok', for your new entry.

Organizing Your Logins

• 📁 Select an existing folder or create a new one by naming it.
• ⚠️ Note: If you create a new folder, you may need to restart the login creation process to assign the entry to it.

Setting Up Credentials and Details

• 👤 Enter your username and password.
• ⚙️ Utilize the password generator options, including setting minimum numbers of characters and special characters.
• 🔗 Optionally, add a website URL for autofill functionality and include relevant notes about the account.

Customization and Saving

• 🔑 Manage authenticator keys if applicable.
• 🛠️ Customize fields by adding text, hidden fields, checkboxes, or links.
• ✅ Click Save to store your new login entry.
• 👁️ The new login, like the 'TikTok' example, will appear with its associated icon.
