How to Create a Backup on OPPO Find X9: Local & Google Methods

Accessing Backup Settings

• ⚙️ Navigate to Settings on your OPPO Find X9.
• ➡️ Scroll down to find System and Update and then select Backup and Reset.

Local Backup Procedure

• 🆕 Tap on Backup and Migrate and then choose New Backup.
• 🗂️ Select the specific data items you wish to include in the backup, with an option to exclude apps.
• ▶️ Initiate the backup process by tapping Start.
• ⚠️ Be aware that a local backup can be lost if the device is reset, so copying it elsewhere is recommended.

Copying Local Backup to PC

• 🔌 Connect your OPPO Find X9 to your PC using a USB-C cable.
• 📲 On your phone, open the notification bar and select File Transfer/Android Auto.
• 📂 In your PC's File Explorer, navigate to your phone's internal storage, then Android > data > Backup Restore > backup > data.
• 💻 Drag and drop the backup folder from your phone to a designated folder on your PC to save it.

Google Account Backup

• ☁️ Return to the Backup and Reset menu and select the Google account option.
• 📸 Ensure Photos & videos backup is enabled.
• 📱 Verify that Other device data backup is also enabled.
• 👤 Confirm the correct Google account is displayed, as the backup will be saved to this account.
• 🟢 Tap the green button to start the Google backup process.
• ✅ A disappearing circle icon or a recent timestamp (e.g., "1 minute ago") confirms a successful backup.
