How to Change VAT Rates on the SumUp Solo Card Reader

Accessing VAT Settings

• 📌 To begin, tap the arrow icon at the top of the SumUp Solo screen.
• ⚙️ Navigate to Options, then select Payment Options.
• 🛢️ Choose the VAT setting to access the tax rate management.

Modifying VAT Rates

• 📊 You will see a list of pre-set VAT percentages.
• ➕ To add a custom rate, select 'Add your own rate'.
• 🔢 Enter the desired VAT amount and then tap Confirm.
• ✅ Once confirmed, the new VAT rate will appear in the options.

Applying New VAT Rates

• 🔙 Return to the payment menu.
• 👆 Select the VAT option again.
• 💡 You can now choose the newly added VAT rate (e.g., 2%) for your transactions.
