How to Block and Unblock Numbers on OPPO A8

Blocking a Contact on OPPO A8

• 📞 To block a number from your contacts, open the Contacts app, find the desired contact, tap on it, then tap the two-dot icon in the upper right corner.
• ➕ Select Add to block list to prevent receiving calls and text messages from that number. A confirmation will appear, and you can tap Add to block list again.
• ⚠️ There isn't a visible icon to indicate a blocked contact directly in the contact list, but you can verify by tapping the two-dot icon again and seeing the Remove from blacklist option.

Managing the Blocklist

• ⚙️ Access the blocklist by opening the Phone app, tapping the two-dot icon in the upper right corner, and selecting Block and filter.
• 🔗 Within Block and filter, tap the two-dot icon again, then Set rules, and finally Blocklist to see all blocked numbers.
• 🆕 To block a number not in your contacts, tap the plus icon in the blocklist, select from contacts, or enter the number manually and tap ADD.

Unblocking Numbers on OPPO A8

• 🗑️ To unblock numbers, navigate to the Blocklist within Block and filter.
• 👆 Tap and hold on the numbers you wish to unblock, then mark them and tap Remove to confirm.
• ✅ The blocklist will be empty after successfully removing the selected numbers.
