How to Add Fingerprint Unlock to Your NUBIA Neo 3 5G

Accessing Fingerprint Settings

• 💡 Open the Settings app on your NUBIA Neo 3 5G.
• 📌 Navigate to Security & Privacy.
• 🎯 Select Device Unlock and then tap on Fingerprint and Face Unlock.

Setting Up Screen Lock

• ⚠️ If you don't have a screen lock (pattern, PIN, or password) already set up, you will be prompted to create one.
• 🔑 This is a security measure to ensure you can still unlock your device if the fingerprint sensor fails.
• ✅ Enter your existing screen lock to proceed to the fingerprint registration.

Registering Your Fingerprint

• 🚀 Tap on Register to begin the fingerprint setup process.
• ⚡ The fingerprint sensor is located on the power button on the side of the device.
• 👆 Place your finger on the sensor and lift it multiple times to capture your entire fingerprint, including the edges, for better recognition.
• 🆗 Once registration is complete, confirm by tapping OK.

Managing Fingerprints and Functions

• 🗂️ Access the Fingerprint Manager to view, rename, or remove registered fingerprints.
• ➕ You can add up to five different fingerprints to your device.
• ⚙️ Assign specific functions to your fingerprints, such as unlocking the device, accessing private space, or launching specific apps.
• 🖱️ Choose between 'touch power button' or 'press power button' for unlocking when the screen is off.

Testing the Fingerprint Unlock

• 🔒 Lock your NUBIA Neo 3 5G device.
• ✅ Place your registered finger on the power button sensor to test the unlock functionality.
