How to Add Fingerprint Unlock to Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold

Accessing Fingerprint Settings

• 💡 Navigate to Settings on your Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold.
• 🔍 Scroll to find and select Security & Privacy.
• 📱 Within the device unlock section, tap on Fingerprint and Face Unlock.

Setting Up a Screen Lock

• ⚠️ Before adding a fingerprint, you must set up an alternative screen lock method (e.g., a pattern or PIN).
• ✅ If you already have a screen lock, you will proceed to the next step.
• 🔒 Choose your preferred lock method and confirm it.

Enrolling Your Fingerprint

• 👆 Tap on Fingerprint Unlock and then 'More' and 'I Agree' to proceed.
• 📍 The fingerprint sensor is located on the power button on the right side of the device.
• 🖐️ Place your finger on the sensor multiple times, adjusting its position to capture all parts of your fingerprint for better recognition.
• ✅ Once enrollment is complete, tap Done.

Managing Fingerprints and Testing

• ✏️ In the fingerprint section, you can rename or remove the added fingerprint.
• ➕ You also have the option to add another fingerprint.
• 💡 Ensure 'Touch to unlock anytime' is enabled for the fingerprint to function.
• 📱 Lock your device and test the fingerprint sensor on the power button to confirm it works for unlocking.
