How to Add and Set Up Fingerprint Unlock on OPPO Reno 14

Accessing Fingerprint Settings

• ⚙️ Begin by opening the Settings app on your OPPO Reno 14.
• 🔒 Scroll down to find and select Security & Privacy.
• 🔓 Within Security & Privacy, navigate to Device Unlock and then tap on Fingerprint and Face Unlock.

Setting Up Your Fingerprint

• ☝️ If you don't have a screen lock set up, you'll be prompted to add a pattern, PIN, or password first.
• 👆 Once a screen lock is in place, tap on Add fingerprint and then Agree to proceed.
• ⚠️ A reminder about screen protectors may appear, noting they can affect sensor performance.
• 🖐️ Place your finger on the fingerprint sensor and lift and reposition it multiple times to capture all parts of your finger for better recognition.
• ✅ Tap Done once the fingerprint has been fully added.

Managing Fingerprint Options

• ✏️ In the fingerprint section, you can rename or remove the fingerprint you just added.
• ➕ You also have the option to add another fingerprint.
• 💡 Customize settings such as quick launch using the fingerprint and the fingerprint animation.
• 💡 Choose whether to show the fingerprint icon when the screen is off.

Testing the Fingerprint Unlock

• 📱 Lock your OPPO Reno 14 device.
• 👆 Place your registered finger on the sensor.
