How to Add a Fingerprint to SAMSUNG Galaxy XCover7 Pro

Accessing Fingerprint Settings

• 📱 Navigate to Settings on your SAMSUNG Galaxy XCover7 Pro.
• 🔒 Select Security and privacy or Lock screen.
• 🔑 Enter your current screen lock (PIN or password) to proceed.

Registering Your Fingerprint

• 👆 Go to the Biometrics section and tap on Fingerprint.
• ▶️ Tap Continue to begin the fingerprint registration process.
• ✋ Place your finger on the power button sensor located on the right side of the device.
• 🔄 Lift and reposition your finger multiple times to ensure all parts are captured for better recognition.
• ✅ Once the registration is complete, tap Done.

Managing and Testing Fingerprints

• 🗂️ In the fingerprint section, you can rename or remove the added fingerprint.
• ➕ You also have the option to add another fingerprint or view existing ones.
• ⚙️ Configure fingerprint usage, such as for fingerprint unlock to secure your screen.
• 🔓 To test, lock your device and place your finger on the power button sensor; the device should unlock successfully.
