Heroic Neighbor's Actions

• 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 William Strickland, a resident, is being hailed as a hero for his actions during the fire.
• ⏰ Woken by his partner around 4:00 a.m. to flames coming through the front door, Strickland quickly evacuated his family.
• 🗣️ He then alerted and helped neighbors by beating on windows and screaming to ensure they also evacuated.

Firefighter Response and Support

• 🚒 Houston firefighters arrived and rescued two to three tenants who were pulled from the burning building.
• 🩹 Those rescued were treated on-site, and miraculously, no one was reported injured.
