HONOR Pad V9: Complete Backup Guide (USB, Google, HONOR Suite)

Accessing Backup Settings

• ⚙️ Navigate to Settings on your HONOR Pad V9.
• ➡️ Scroll down to System and Updates, then select Backup and Restore.

Backing Up to External USB Storage

• 🔌 Insert a USB storage device (e.g., via USB-C adapter) into your tablet.
• 💾 Click on the USB storage option, then tap Backup.
• 🗂️ Select all items or specific data you wish to back up.
• 🔒 Create a security password (8-32 characters, mix of digits and letters) and a hint.
• ✅ The backup process will begin and complete, indicated by a confirmation message.

Utilizing Google Account Backup

• ☁️ Ensure Google backup is enabled in the settings.
• 📧 Verify your backup account and ensure sufficient free space.
• 📊 The backup includes apps, photos, videos, device settings, and Google account data.
• ⏳ Tap Backup now and monitor the progress bar; completion is confirmed by a message and timestamp.

Using HONOR Suite on PC/Mac

• 💻 Download and install HONOR Suite from its official website for Windows or Mac.
• 🔗 Connect your HONOR Pad V9 to your computer via USB-C cable.
• 🔌 On the tablet, select Use USB to transfer files and enable Developer Options and USB Debugging.
• 📲 The HONOR Suite app may download to your tablet; allow necessary permissions.
• 🖱️ Enter the verification code on the PC app and click Connect.
• 📤 In HONOR Suite, click Copy, select the data to back up, and click Copy again.
• 🔐 Set a password (similar requirements to USB backup) and a hint, then click OK to start the backup.
