HONOR Magic8 Pro: Setting Up Gesture Navigation and Three-Button Bar

Accessing Navigation Settings

• ⚙️ Open Settings on your Honor Magic8 Pro and scroll down to find System & Updates.
• 👆 Tap on System Navigation to access the options for customizing your device's navigation.

Three-Button Navigation Configuration

• 🖱️ Select Three-Button navigation to enable the traditional button layout.
• 🔄 You can reorder the back and recent buttons to suit your preference for comfort and ease of use.
• 🚫 Options are available to hide the navigation bar for a cleaner screen.
• ⚓ A navigation dock can be added to the screen for quick access to actions, including a back function.

Gesture Navigation Setup

• ➡️ Choose Gesture navigation to switch to a swipe-based interface.
• 튜 A tutorial is available to help you learn and practice the various gestures.
• 📏 The navigation bar can be hidden by toggling a switcher, relying solely on gestures.

Understanding Gesture Controls

• ↩️ To go back to the previous page, swipe from the side to the center of the screen.
• 🏠 To return to the homepage, perform a quick swipe up from the bottom to the center.
• 🗂️ To open recent apps, swipe up from the bottom and hold your finger in the center.
• ↔️ Quickly switch between apps by swiping left or right along the bottom edge of the screen.
