HONOR Magic8 Pro: How to Use Multi-Window Dock (Magic Sidebar) for Multitasking

Enabling the Magic Sidebar

• 💡 To use the Multi-Window Dock, first ensure the Magic Sidebar feature is enabled in your HONOR Magic8 Pro's settings.
• ⚙️ Navigate to HONOR AI → AI Services → Magic Sidebar and toggle the feature on.

Opening the Multi-Window Dock

• 👆 To open the dock, while in any application, swipe inward from the left or right edge of the screen and hold for about 1 second.
• ➡️ A small bar will appear on the side, indicating the dock is ready to be opened.

Using Floating Windows

• 📱 Tap an app icon from the sidebar to open it in a movable floating window.
• ↔️ You can resize this window as needed and drag it around the screen.
• 🖼️ The floating window can also be shrunk down to a picture-in-picture mode.

Utilizing Split Screen Mode

• 👥 To use split screen, long-press an app icon from the sidebar.
• ⬆️ Drag the icon to the top or bottom of the screen to initiate split screen mode.
• 📏 You can then resize the split screen windows to your preference for efficient multitasking.
