HONOR Magic8 Pro: How to Enable and Use Private Space (Second System)

Understanding Private Space

• 💡 Private Space on the HONOR Magic8 Pro is a completely independent phone system hidden within the device, designed to keep apps, files, and accounts separate and private.
• 🎯 This feature allows users to maintain a distinct environment for sensitive information, separate from their main phone system.

Enabling Private Space

• ⚙️ To enable Private Space, navigate to Settings and select Security & privacy.
• 🔐 Within Security & privacy, go to Other settings and then Device and data protection.
• 🚀 Tap on Private space and then select the Enable button to begin the setup process.

Setting Up Security for Private Space

• 🔑 You will be prompted to confirm your lock screen password to verify your identity.
• 🔒 Next, set a different PIN specifically for your Private Space, distinct from your main system's PIN.
• 👆 Optionally, you can register a separate fingerprint for Private Space, which can be a different finger than the one used for your main space.

Accessing and Exiting Private Space

• 📱 To enter your main space, unlock the phone using your regular finger and PIN.
• 👤 To access your Private Space, use the second finger you scanned and the dedicated Private Space PIN.
• 🚪 To exit Private Space and return to your main space, simply lock the phone and then unlock it using your main space credentials.
