HONOR Magic8 Lite: How to Enable Power Saving & Ultra Power Saver Modes

Accessing Power Saving Options

• 👆 Swipe down from the top-right of your HONOR Magic8 Lite screen to access Quick Settings.
• 🔍 If the Power Saving toggle isn't visible, you can add it by tapping the edit icon (pen) in Quick Settings and selecting 'Edit shortcut switches'.
• 💡 Note that you might need to remove other toggles if the list is full to make space for the Power Saving option.

Enabling Standard Power Saving Mode

• ⚡ Tapping the Power Saving Mode toggle enables it, activating features like dark mode, disabling Always-On Display, and restricting background activities.
• 🚫 This mode also disables Auto Sync, which means your phone won't actively check for notifications from apps like Facebook or WhatsApp when the screen is off, thus preserving battery.
• ✅ You can choose to not see the initial pop-up explanation again by checking the 'Do not show this again' box before enabling.
• ↩️ To turn off Power Saving Mode, simply tap the toggle again.

Understanding Ultra Power Saver Mode

• 🚀 Ultra Power Saver is a more extreme version designed for maximum battery preservation.
• 📱 It significantly limits functionality, changes the wallpaper to a simpler one, reduces brightness, removes most apps, and restricts toggles to a few essential ones.
• 🔋 With 100% battery, Ultra Power Saver can provide an estimated 174 hours of battery life, and even at 10% charge, it can offer around 17 hours.
• ⚠️ This mode is best used only when the battery is critically low and charging is not immediately possible.
