Running the Race of Faith

Understanding God's Discipline

Living a Holy Life

• ✨ Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy, without which no one will see God.
• 🚫 Avoid bitterness and sexual immorality, and do not be godless like Esau, who sold his inheritance for a single meal.
• 💖 Value your godliness and holiness, not giving them up lightly.

The Unshakable Kingdom

• ⛰️ Contrast the terrifying experience of Mount Sinai with coming to Mount Zion, the heavenly Jerusalem, and the church of the firstborn.
• 😇 We have come to God, the judge of all, to the spirits of the righteous made perfect, and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant.
• 🔥 Our God is a consuming fire, and a shaking is coming to refine and remove what can be shaken, leaving only what cannot be shaken.
• 🙏 Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful and worship God acceptably with reverence and awe.
