Google Pixel 9 Pro Fold: How to Use Split Screen View for Multitasking

Opening Apps in Split Screen View (Unfolded)

• 🚀 Launch two apps you intend to use and keep them running in the background.
• 📌 Access your background apps, then tap on the app you want on the right side of the screen.
• 🎯 Select "Split" from the bottom right corner and then tap on the second app to open it in split screen.

Exiting Split Screen View (Unfolded)

• 💡 To exit split screen mode, drag one of your apps all the way to the right or left.
• ✅ Then, tap the home button to return to the main screen.

Using Split Screen View (Folded)

• 📱 If your device is folded, open two apps in the background.
• 💻 Go to background apps and tap the icon of the app you want on the top half of the screen.
• ➡️ Select "Split screen" and then tap on the second app.

Exiting Split Screen View (Folded)

• ↩️ To exit this mode, drag one of the apps all the way up or down.
• 🏠 Finally, hit the home button.
