Initial Setup: Transferring Data During Setup

• 🚀 Begin the setup process on your new Google Pixel 10 and select the option to 'setup using another device'.
• 📱 If the option doesn't appear automatically, use the camera app with Google Lens or a third-party QR code scanner to scan the code displayed on your old device.
• 📶 The Pixel will automatically connect to Wi-Fi, and you may need to confirm your lock screen pattern or PIN.
• ⚙️ Choose between 'Express' or 'Customize' to copy data. Selecting 'Customize' allows you to manually choose what to copy, such as apps, messages, call history, photos, videos, documents, and device settings.
• ✅ After selection, click 'copy' and proceed through Google services, backup options, and browser/search engine setup.

Transferring Data After Initial Setup

• 🔧 If you skipped data transfer during setup, you can do it later by opening Settings.
• ➡️ Navigate to backup or copy data and select 'copy data using Android switch' to initiate the process.

Restoring Backup via Google One

• ⏭️ During the setup process, when prompted to 'setup using another device', click skip.
• 🌐 Connect to Wi-Fi manually and proceed to sign in with the same Google account used to create the backup.
• 🔑 You may need to confirm your screen lock from the backup creation device.
• 💾 Select the desired backup from the available options and confirm by drawing your screen lock.

Finalizing Setup and Tips

• ⏳ Be patient as some apps and data may continue to install from the Play Store after setup is complete.
• 📶 It's recommended to stay connected to Wi-Fi until all downloads are finished.
• 🖱️ You can customize system navigation settings, choosing between gesture navigation or the traditional three-button navigation.
