Transmission Repair and Upgrade

• 💥 The 2003 Cobra Mustang's transmission (T-56) developed a grinding noise and slipping issue after recent modifications.
• 🔍 Upon disassembly, a damaged fourth-gear blocker ring was found, likely due to improper shimming of the input shaft bearing race, causing excessive play.
• 🛠️ The transmission was reassembled with a new blocker ring, a properly shimmed input shaft bearing, and a new inner bearing, resolving the binding and play.
• ⚙️ An adjustable pivot ball was installed to prevent clutch fork interference, a common issue with performance upgrades.

Big Brake Upgrade

• 🛑 The stock Cobra brakes were deemed insufficient, prompting an upgrade to four-piston Brembo calipers from a Cadillac ATS-V and larger rotors from a Mustang GT.
• 🔧 This involved custom modifications, including grinding the calipers and using a spacer to ensure proper rotor centering.
• 🎨 The calipers were painted yellow with black Cobra decals for a custom look.
