DUNE: Awakening - How to Enable or Disable Planar Lock for Air Vehicles

Accessing Planar Lock Settings

• ⚙️ Navigate to the Settings menu in DUNE: Awakening.
• 🎮 Select the Gameplay tab to find flight control options.

Understanding Planar Lock

• 📌 The Planar Lock setting controls how air vehicles, like the ornithopter, manage altitude changes.
• ⬆️ When Planar Lock is ON, altitude changes only occur when using specific ascent and descent inputs.
• ⬇️ When Planar Lock is OFF, the vehicle will also change altitude based on the direction it's facing when pitching.

Applying Changes

• ✅ After adjusting the Planar Lock setting to your preference (on or off), remember to apply the changes.
• ⌨️ This can typically be done by pressing the Enter key or clicking the apply button.
