Accessing and Customizing Hotspot Settings

• 👆 Swipe down from the top right of the screen to access Quick Settings and locate the hotspot toggle.
• ✏️ If the hotspot toggle is missing, tap the pencil icon to add it by dragging it to the active toggles area.
• 🔑 Access hotspot settings by long-pressing the toggle; here you can change the default, randomly generated password to one of at least eight characters.

Network Configuration and Security

• 📱 The default hotspot name is the device name, making it easy to identify.
• 🔒 It is recommended to keep the security setting enabled to require a password for connection.
• 👥 Use the manage devices option to view connected devices and blacklist any unwanted users.

Battery Saving and Connectivity Options

• 🔋 Enable automatic turn-off when no devices are connected to conserve battery life.
• 📶 Choose between 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz frequency bands for your hotspot.
• ⚠️ The 2.4 GHz band is recommended by default for broader compatibility.
• 🌐 5 GHz may be beneficial in densely populated areas with many 2.4 GHz networks to reduce interference, but ensure the connecting device supports it.

Data Usage and Final Tips

• ⚠️ Be mindful of your data usage, especially if your mobile plan has limits, as the device does not appear to have a built-in data cap setting.
• 🔌 The hotspot can be manually turned off by tapping the toggle again.
• ✅ The hotspot will automatically turn off when no devices are connected, preserving battery.
