DOOGEE Fire 7: How to Import Contacts from SIM Card to Device

Accessing SIM Contacts

• 📱 Open the Contacts application on your DOOGEE Fire 7 device to begin.
• ⚙️ Navigate to the Organize menu and then select Manage SIM to view contacts stored on your SIM card.

Importing Contacts

• 🗂️ By default, all contacts on the SIM card should be selected for import.
• 💾 You will be prompted to choose an import location, typically Device or Google.
• 🔒 The video recommends importing to the Device to maintain user privacy, as opposed to the cloud.
• ✅ Click Import to initiate the transfer, with the option to deselect any contacts you do not wish to move.

Post-Import Behavior

• 🔄 After importing, the SIM version of a contact may disappear and be substituted by the device version.
• 🤝 The contacts application intelligently merges SIM and device entries, so you will see only one consolidated contact.
• 👤 Device contacts can store more information, such as photos and multiple phone numbers, compared to SIM contacts.

Managing Contact Views

• 👁️ Access the dropdown menu (often labeled 'All Contacts') to filter which contacts are displayed.
• 🎛️ Options include viewing All Contacts, SIM Card contacts, Device contacts, and potentially Google contacts if linked.
