DOOGEE Fire 7: How to Enable and Use Gesture Navigation

Accessing Navigation Settings

• ⚙️ Navigate to Settings on your DOOGEE Fire 7.
• ➡️ Scroll down and tap on System, then select Gestures.
• 👆 Choose Navigation mode to switch between three-button and gesture navigation.

Customizing Navigation Options

• 🖱️ Within Navigation bar settings, you can reorder the back and recent buttons for personalized comfort.
• 💡 The Home button can be configured to invoke the digital assistant with a long press.
• 🚫 Optionally, you can hide the gesture navigation bar (the line at the bottom) for a cleaner screen.

Understanding Gesture Controls

• ↩️ To go back to the previous page, swipe from either side of the screen to the center.
• 🏠 To return to the Home screen, perform a quick, short swipe from the bottom to the center.
• 🔳 To open Recent apps, swipe from the bottom to the center and hold your finger longer to elongate the gesture.
• ↔️ Quickly switch between apps by swiping horizontally along the bottom edge of the screen (left-to-right or right-to-left).

Gesture Sensitivity and Tips

• 🎯 Adjust back sensitivity to either a lower or higher setting based on your preference.
• 🧐 It is recommended to revisit sensitivity settings after using gestures for a while to find the optimal configuration.
• 📏 You can also choose to hide the gesture line entirely if you prefer a minimalist interface.
