DOOGEE Blade 20 Max: How to Transfer Data and Restore Google One Backup

Initial Setup and Wi-Fi Connection

• 💡 Begin the setup process by selecting your language and connecting to a Wi-Fi network by entering the password.
• ⏳ Be prepared to wait a few minutes as the phone prepares for the next steps.

Transferring Data via Cable or Wi-Fi

• 📲 Choose the option to copy apps and data and proceed to the next step.
• 🔌 If you have a compatible cable, connect your old and new devices. If not, select 'no cable' to proceed using Wi-Fi.
• 🗣️ On your old device, launch the Google app and say or type "Set up my device".
• ✅ Verify that the shapes displayed on both devices match, then click 'copy' and enter your old phone's screen lock if prompted.

Selecting Data for Transfer

• 📥 The phone will prepare to copy data; this may take a few minutes.
• 📋 You can then choose which data to copy, such as contacts, calendar, Gmail, Google Photos, and apps.
• 🚀 Once selections are made, click 'copy' to start the transfer process.

Post-Transfer Setup and Backup Options

• 🔒 You can set up your lock screen now or skip it to do later in settings.
• ✅ Accept Google services and consider enabling backup options for future use.
• 🌐 Select your preferred default browser (e.g., Google Chrome) and search engine (e.g., Google).
• 💬 You may also choose to enable features like 'Let contacts nearby find and share' and activate the Gemini assistant with 'Hey Google'.

Restoring from Google One Backup

• ➡️ During setup, select the option to copy apps and data, then choose 'cannot use other device'.
• 🔑 Sign in to the same Google account used for the original backup to ensure successful restoration.
• 🗂️ Select the desired backup from the list and choose what data to restore (e.g., contacts, calendar, photos, excluding apps).
• 🔄 Click 'restore' and proceed through the remaining setup steps, including accepting Google services and setting preferences.
