DJI ROMO S: How to Customize Carpet Cleaning Settings

Accessing Carpet Settings

• ⚙️ Navigate to the settings menu by tapping the icon in the top right corner of the DJI ROMO S app.
• 🗺️ Select Carpet Settings to manage how your robot interacts with carpets.

Managing Carpet Configurations

• ✏️ For existing carpets already mapped, you can select them directly on the map and adjust their individual settings.
• 🆕 You can also set rules for newly recognized carpets or apply general settings that will be used for any carpet the robot identifies in the future.
• 🎯 Settings can be customized individually for each carpet, allowing for a tailored cleaning approach.

Carpet Cleaning Modes Explained

• 💨 Suction Boost: This mode lifts the mop pad and increases suction power, recommended for low-pile carpets.
• 🚶 Cross Carpet: The robot stops cleaning, lifts its mop pad, and proceeds to cross over thicker carpets. This is ideal for obstructive carpets that are difficult to navigate.
• 🚫 Ignore Carpet: The robot treats the carpeted area as if it were a hard floor, cleaning normally without engaging carpet-specific features. This is useful when a carpet is misidentified by the robot.
