DJI Mini 5 Pro: Step-by-Step Compass Normal Calibration Guide

Preparing for Compass Calibration

• 💡 Ensure your DJI Mini 5 Pro is switched on, connected, linked, and paired before starting.
• 🎯 Access the Go Fly interface within the DJI Fly app to begin the process.

Navigating to Calibration Settings

• ⚙️ Tap the three vertical dots in the top right corner to open the app's settings.
• 🧭 Select the Safety category from the settings menu.
• 📍 Scroll down to find and select Compass Normal Calibration.

Performing the Calibration

• ▶️ Tap the Calibrate button to start the compass calibration sequence.
• ⚠️ Follow on-screen instructions, ensuring the aircraft arms are unfolded and kept clear of metal or electrically charged objects.
• ✈️ Maintain an altitude of at least 10.5 meters above ground level during calibration.
• 🔄 Rotate the aircraft 360° horizontally, then rotate it vertically (camera side up) while continuing to rotate clockwise.
