Severe Storms Expected Tonight

• ⚠️ A WFAA Weather Alert Day is in effect tonight from 10:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. tomorrow.
• ⚡ The primary concerns are golf ball-sized hail and 60+ mile per hour winds in the strongest thunderstorms.
• 📍 Thunderstorms are expected to develop well west of the Metroplex by 9:00 p.m., moving into Denton, Tarrant, and surrounding counties by midnight.
• ⏰ Most activity in the Metroplex is expected to move south and east by 2:00 a.m., but some lingering storms are possible through early Sunday morning.

Sunday Afternoon and Evening Storms

• ☀️ Most of Sunday will be quiet with sunshine, but thunderstorms could develop in the late afternoon or early evening.
• 🎯 These storms, occurring from 3:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m., may also produce golf ball-sized hail and 60 mph wind gusts.
• 🌪️ While the chance is lower in DFW, an isolated tornado is a possibility, with a slightly higher chance in East Texas.
